Hi, I’m Tez … the maker behind Sage Stone Ceramics!

I believe that when you own something that is truly handcrafted, it has a different feel to it, a movement, a story, a trace of the maker’s hand that brings a warmth to even the quietest corner of your home.

My path to pottery wasn’t a straight one. After leaving school, I spent a year shy of a decade travelling the world, first as a British Airways flight attendant, then as a Chief Stewardess aboard luxury superyachts. When I eventually returned to land, I rediscovered my love for clay, a grounding contrast to a life spent in motion. What began as a weekend ritual soon became a calling, and so…Sage Stone Ceramics was born.

Now based in a small studio just outside London, I create stoneware vessels and sculptural forms inspired by nature, texture and the slow rhythm of making by hand. Each piece is designed to be lived with, a calm companion that elevates the everyday through simplicity and tactility. My philosophy and hope is that they bring a deeper connection into your daily rituals.

Sage Stone Ceramics is, at its heart, about that connection. Between maker and material, object and owner, craft and calm. Rooted in nature. Crafted with care. Designed to slow you down… even if just for a minute!
